Dear users,

This is the KDE port of qsynaptics, a GNU tool to take full advantage of
your synaptics touch pad (http://qsynaptics.sourceforge.net).

Now it's using autoconf, that should make packaging, developing
and installing much easier.

This release provides same functionality as the latest qsynaptics
application but embeds into the KControl Center.
To run the application stand-alone type "kcmshell ksynaptics" after installing.

Thanks for your testing - if you have comments, ideas, skills...
please contact me (katakombi@web.de).

    CAUTION:

SuSE users reported problems in installing the synaptics tar ball
        over the existing module.
I'm looking after this issue, but you need "synclient" and "syndaemon"
which aren't delivered with SuSE and therefore the driver needs to be
        installed manually.
If an experienced user could report a success story, I'd really be
        glad.

    NOTE:
It is planned to get ksynaptics/qsynaptics independent of
        syndaemon/synclient.
I think this will help out those users that run distributions
        that don't ship 'em.
But beware that you need a recent driver version (suggest 0.13.5)!
